Pardon me while I get a little personal. Trust me, there's a reason for it.
In 2010, my daughter was born with a birth defect called EA/TEF. Basically, she was born without a connection from her esophagus to her stomach and unable to eat. She had surgery on day 2 of her life to correct it, and 8 surgerys following that. She finally made it out of the hospital at 4 months old. Although very closely monitored by fantastic specialists right now, she is currently living a normal, healthy life!
During those stressful months, our family stayed at a Ronald McDonald House to be with her every day. We met other families going through similar situations, and felt like we truly had a "home away from home" right next to the hospital. I don't know if we would have held it all together without what they gave us.
I've been looking for a way to give back to them for a while now, and this is what I came up with! During the month of September, 10% of every booking will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House of Maryland! Of course, I love working with you every month, but I'll especially love it if we can work together in Selfless September.

There is only one Ronald McDonald House in the State of Maryland.
100% of our operating budget is raised locally.
Our doors have been open for 37 year and we have served families from 22 countries and 50 states.
We have been home to more than 40,000 families since our opening in 1982.
2,400 families will come through our doors, an increase of 1,200 families over 2018.
54 families can be taken care of each night, up from 34 in 2018, including 9 oncology suites.
39,420 breakfasts and dinners are served annually to RMH families by loving volunteers.
Our Dream is that no families in crisis will be on our waiting list.
Our New House is 60,000 sq. ft. in which to share countless hugs and smiles!
We received 250 All You Need is Love art donations by local artists to bring joy to our walls.
