About John

John’s love for all things voice and recording started as a kid when he found himself recording former Baltimore Orioles radio play-by-play announcer, Jon Miller, on a cassette player in his bedroom. John was fascinated with his work. He played it back trying to emulate it, poorly, over and over again. He figured out later why Mr. Miller was and still is, so good. He was able to make him FEEL something. Period. His love for the game was truly authentic. He didn’t need to watch the game. He made him feel like he was there with him, seeing everything he saw, feeling everything he felt. He’s been trying to give others “the feels” ever since.

In 2016, after a successful 21-year radio career, John did a complete pivot and started his own voiceover business and hasn’t looked back once. Today, John can say that he is an Emmy Award-winning full-time voice actor. He’s been the voice of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens since 2016, the voice of many national TV campaigns like Batteries Plus Bulbs, Four Roses Bourbon, and Ageless Male. He was the narrator of the Curiosity Stream documentary “The Body”, “The Mighty Atom” on Amazon Prime and CuriosityStream, the Justice Network’s national docu-series “Inside The Mind Of A Serial Killer”, and of all 4 seasons of the Sportsman Channel’s “Florida Sportsman Project Dreamboat”, plus much more!

A: Non-union.

A: Auditions or jobs can be delivered within 24 hours or faster if necessary.

A: John is always around a studio.  Recording sessions occur in his professional studio, or any local production house in the Baltimore metro area.

A: Yes. Directed sessions are available using Source Connect (johnklug, johnklugvo), Zoom, or phone patch (1-443-516-7788).

A: His preferred method of delivery is Google Drive but he can send audio in whatever way is most convenient for his clients.

A:  Yes.  File types such as WAV, mp3, aiff and any other format or bitrate you may need, he can provide.
